Not Shut Up is written and read by prisoners. 5000 copies of each issue are sent to London’s prisons and another 1000 are sent to prisons, probation services, and secure hospitals throughout the country. They go like hot cakes.
The magazine is all about empowering people inside with the transformational power of the written word. Not Shut Up writers work with prisoners to craft their writing and prepare it for publication.
