It’s the age-old question, “Do your tattoos mean anything?” Well, the answer is always yes. Different people, different meanings. For me, I guess they started out as decoration, a kind of “go faster stripes” type of thing. I was 16 and there was no continuity to them. These days I tend to look at my body art as rites of passage. Whenever I overcome a particularly tough hurdle in life, I mark the occasion with either a piercing or an addition to the already extensive tattooing. It’s all part of expressing that which words have trouble with.
